Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with 4+ years of hands-on experience in API Automation using Rest Assured and UI Automation using Selenium with Java to support critical testing in the Banking domain. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Create and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, test scripts, and automated test suites • Prepare automated test data, test suites, and test beds • Design, execute, and validate REST APIs • Identify, classify, and report defects based on severity and priority • Manage defects throughout the entire bug life cycle • Perform backend and database validations • Contribute to the continuous improvement of automation frameworks and testing processes • Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, and estimation sessions Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 4+ Years of QA automation experience • Mandatory Skill: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Rest Assured API Automation is a MUST • Strong hands-on experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java • Demonstrated ability to build automation frameworks from scratch • Strong knowledge of Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and Design Patterns • Hands-on framework implementation and execution experience with BDD using Cucumber • API testing expertise using REST, JSON, and XML • Proficiency with API testing tools such as Postman, Swagger, Insomnia, or SOAP UI • Strong knowledge of API validations, backend validations, and database (DB) testing • Version control experience with Git / GitHub • Hands-on experience with AWS, including AWS S3 and CloudWatch • Experience setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins • Cross-browser testing experience using BrowserStack • Practical experience using Jira and Confluence for defect tracking and test management • Strong understanding of Agile / Scrum methodology • Good to Have Skills: Apache JMeter, Gatling, LoadRunner, accessibility testing for mobile applications, and experience with AI tools in the industry • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent attention to detail, self-driven, strong communication skills, and comfortable working in a fast-paced Agile environment Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India • Work Mode: Hybrid • Shift: General Shift (9:00 AM – 6:00 PM) Application Instructions: Interested candidates are invited to share their updated CV to apply for the position.
