Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for a hands-on Data Engineer to join a major Canadian retailer's Digital Marketing & eCommerce team. This is a hands-on pipeline engineering role, not a high-level data platform/architecture position. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Hands-on ETL/ELT and data pipeline development and maintenance. • Data modelling and data analysis. • Build, support, and optimize production pipelines for marketing and eCommerce data. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • 6+ years of Data Engineering experience. • Strong expertise in GCP / BigQuery. • Proficiency in Python and Advanced SQL. • Experience with Airflow / Cloud Composer. • Retail / eCommerce / Digital Marketing experience is a big plus. • Assets: Dataflow, Pub/Sub, PySpark, and clickstream experience. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Toronto, Ontario (Hybrid, 2 days/week onsite). • Contract Duration: Contract through Jan. 31, 2027 + potential extension. • In-person interview in Toronto required.
