• Role & Company / Project Overview CSI Consulting is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Developer for an exciting opportunity with our banking client in Downtown Toronto. Initial 6-month contract with the opportunity to transition to full-time employment with the Bank. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design, develop, implement, and support complex web application projects. - Develop and design solutions on Azure cloud platforms. - Develop and integrate REST APIs. - Perform SQL query design, stored procedure troubleshooting, and reporting. - Provide mandatory production support for applications and cloud services. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Key Requirements: - 7+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting complex web application projects. - Strong hands-on Azure cloud development and design experience, including Azure App Services (Web Apps, API Apps, SPA Apps), Azure Key Vault and Azure Functions, Azure SQL / Azure SQL Managed Instance, Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake, Azure Monitor and Network Security Groups (NSGs). - Strong programming experience in Java and/or .NET. - Solid experience with relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle. - Expertise in writing and troubleshooting complex SQL queries and stored procedures. - Experience with Power BI reports and analytics. - Hands-on experience developing and integrating REST APIs. - Front-end development experience with Vue.js or React.js, including Single Page Applications (SPAs). - Experience with Git and Azure DevOps. - Production support experience is mandatory. - Good to Have: - Experience with JavaScript frameworks. - Knowledge of Change Data Capture (CDC). - Experience with message queues and stream processing systems. - Experience with Azure App Service Environment. - Azure certifications. - Prior API development experience. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Engagement: Initial 6-month contract with opportunity to transition to full-time employment. - Work Model: Hybrid work model – 1 day per week in the office. - Location: Downtown Toronto, ON, Canada. • Application Instructions Interested candidates are welcome to connect or share their updated resumes via email.
