Role & Company / Project Overview: PT Borneo Mandiri Investment is hiring a Mechanical Drafter to join our team in the manufacturing and engineering industry based in Cipondoh, Tangerang. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Review and study technical documents including sketches, specifications, engineering data, calculations, and other project requirements. • Prepare detailed mechanical drawings, layouts, assemblies, and component drawings using AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. • Develop and revise drawings based on engineering requirements, manufacturing considerations, and actual site/workshop conditions. • Coordinate ongoing projects with the workshop, engineering/design team, and project/jobsite personnel. • Participate in design reviews and technical coordination meetings. • Prepare and maintain technical documentation and drawing records. • Modify and revise designs to resolve operational, fabrication, assembly, or production issues. • Assist with field measurements, inspections, and verification of actual conditions when required. • Review specifications, sketches, drawings, and related technical information to ensure designs meet project requirements. • Maintain electronic drawings and technical information in an organized and traceable manner. • Perform other related duties assigned by the Head of Department. Key Accountabilities: • Produce accurate plans, drawings, diagrams, layouts, and models in accordance with applicable specifications and standards. • Ensure AutoCAD and Inventor drawings are accurate, practical, and suitable for manufacturing/fabrication. • Develop detailed mechanical designs and component drawings. • Ensure drawing revisions and technical information are properly controlled and communicated. • Support engineering and production teams in resolving drawing- and design-related issues. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Minimum D3/S1 degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Design, or a related field. • Experience as a Mechanical Drafter / Design Drafter in a manufacturing or engineering environment is preferred. • Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor. • Able to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and mechanical components. • Good understanding of mechanical drawing, dimensions, tolerances, and manufacturing processes. • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple drawing/project requirements. • Good communication and coordination skills. • Fresh graduates with strong AutoCAD/Inventor skills are welcome to apply.
