### Role & Company / Project Overview Washington International School Taichung (WIST) in Taiwan is seeking a passionate and forward-thinking Robotics & Makerspace Teacher. At WIST, innovation is more than a concept; students recently earned international recognition at the 2026 Robofest World Championship, winning the Senior Exhibition category with 'Timmy II', an autonomous food-delivery robot created to address a practical campus challenge. This role focuses on inspiring the next generation of creative thinkers, problem-solvers, and innovators. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Inspire and mentor motivated students who have a proven passion for innovation and international robotics competitions. • Develop engaging, interdisciplinary learning experiences through design thinking, experimentation, and hands-on collaboration. • Teach and guide students across robotics, computer coding, engineering concepts, digital fabrication, and makerspace technologies. • Work alongside dedicated fellow educators who value creativity, student agency, and continuous professional growth. • Empower students to transform curiosity and concepts into meaningful, real-world solutions. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Passionate educator enthusiastic about robotics, coding, engineering, digital fabrication, and hands-on learning. • Ability to teach and facilitate design thinking, problem solving, and student-driven project development. • Relevant educational background, pedagogical expertise, and subject matter knowledge in robotics or STEM education. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Taichung, Taiwan. • Environment: Welcoming and diverse international school campus community. ### Compensation & Benefits • Competitive international school teaching package and professional development opportunities within a collaborative educational environment. ### Application Instructions Interested educators are encouraged to get in touch and submit their CV/application to the school recruitment office via email.
