• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst for a Contract-to-Hire position based in Syracuse, NY. This role is open to local U.S. citizens (USC) only, operating in a hybrid capacity. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Manage and operate SOC (Security Operations Center) functions. - Execute threat detection and security incident response. - Perform vulnerability management across systems. - Implement and maintain security automation and scripting workflows. - Administer firewalls, Microsoft Defender, and Entra ID environments. - Conduct digital forensics and SIEM monitoring. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Citizenship: USC candidates only (U.S. citizens). - 2+ years of cybersecurity and Microsoft Security Suite experience. - Hands-on experience with PowerShell, Python, Windows/Active Directory, and Linux. - Working proficiency with Microsoft Defender, Entra ID, and firewall management. - Hands-on background in SIEM, incident response, and digital forensics. - Proven automation and scripting experience. - Preferred: Experience with Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, Kibana, Microsoft Purview, and Copilot. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Syracuse, New York (Local candidates). - Work Mode: Hybrid — 3 days onsite per week. - Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can share their updated resume via DM or email.
