• Role & Company / Project Overview Seeking an experienced Security Analyst / SOC Lead with strong expertise in security monitoring, incident response, MITRE ATT&CK, and security analytics to serve as a Security Analyst – Project Lead. The position is remote with preference given to candidates local to Columbia, SC or surrounding South Carolina cities. The interview process comprises 1 virtual round, followed by a potential second in-person round. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Lead security monitoring, incident handling, and analytics initiatives - Support large Security Operations Center (SOC) operations - Create security dashboards and generate comprehensive security reporting - Manage and respond to security incidents utilizing frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK - Work with endpoint detection, XDR/XSIAM platforms, firewalls, VPNs, and network architecture • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 3+ years of experience with the MITRE ATT&CK framework - 3+ years of dashboard creation and security reporting - 3+ years of security monitoring and incident response - 2+ years supporting large SOC operations - Demonstrated hands-on experience with Palo Alto Cortex XSIAM/XDR - Solid technical background in Firewall, VPN, Active Directory, and IDS/IPS - Proficient in Linux, network administration, and network design - Associate's degree in IT/Information Security or 4+ years of relevant experience in lieu of education - CISSP, CISA, CISO-related credentials, or an equivalent advanced security certification - CEH, OSCP, GPEN, and vendor security certifications are considered a strong plus • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Remote role; preference for candidates local to Columbia, South Carolina or surrounding SC cities - In-person interview stage may be required • Application Instructions Interested candidates can reach out directly or apply via email with an updated resume.
