• Role & Company / Project Overview Ren Information Technology is seeking an experienced Lead Data Engineer for permanent placement in Australia (Sydney preferred or Melbourne). This role focuses on leading real-time and batch data platform engineering for Australia-based consultants with no visa sponsorship available. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Spearhead the architecture, solution design, and technical leadership of enterprise-grade real-time and batch data platforms - Build and optimize data processing pipelines using Google Cloud Platform technologies - Lead technical implementation, data integration, and infrastructure provisioning across engineering teams - Drive best practices in data warehousing, event-driven streaming, and orchestration • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Proven technical leadership and solution design expertise in large-scale data engineering - Deep hands-on experience with GCP Dataflow, BigQuery, Cloud Spanner, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer - Strong working knowledge of Apache Kafka and Terraform for infrastructure as code - High proficiency in programming languages including Python and Java - Extensive background developing robust real-time and batch data platforms - Eligibility: Australia-based consultants only (No visa sponsorship provided) • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Sydney preferred / Melbourne, Australia - Work Type: Permanent • Application Instructions Interested Australian candidates should submit their updated CV specifying current location, availability, and expected annual salary.
