• Role & Company / Project Overview Resource Corner IT is seeking an experienced RunZero Engineer to design, implement, and manage security asset discovery platforms, integrations, automation, and operational processes across complex enterprise environments in Sydney, Australia. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Platform Engineering & Configuration: • Configure asset discovery across corporate networks, data centres, cloud, remote access, IoT, and OT environments. • Implement active scanning, passive discovery, and safe scanning standards. • Manage asset classification, ownership, criticality, lifecycle, tags, and naming conventions. • Develop reusable configuration templates and maintain controlled production changes. - Integrations & Data Engineering: • Integrate with CMDB, ServiceNow, Tenable, EDR, NAC, DNS/DHCP, cloud platforms, identity systems, SIEM, and SOAR. • Develop secure API-based integrations using least-privilege access. • Automate asset reconciliation, deduplication, enrichment, and data quality validation. • Monitor integration health, synchronisation failures, and data inconsistencies. - Automation & Workflow Engineering: • Automate platform onboarding, scan scheduling, asset tagging, reporting, and housekeeping. • Build API, webhook, scripting, and event-driven workflows. • Automate exposure routing, asset lifecycle management, and security response processes. • Implement approval controls and reliable, repeatable automation. - SRE & Operations: • Apply configuration-as-code, version control, peer reviews, testing, and rollback procedures. • Establish monitoring, dashboards, service-level indicators, and operational alerts. • Develop runbooks for scanning, integration, access, and data quality issues. • Design backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures. • Assess platform capacity, performance, and scalability across enterprise environments. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 5+ years of experience with RunZero or comparable security discovery platforms. - Deep technical expertise across asset discovery, CMDB/ServiceNow integrations, SIEM, SOAR, APIs, and workflow automation. - Valid Australian work rights (no visa sponsorship provided). • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Sydney, Australia. - Job Type: Full-Time / Lateral. • Application Instructions - Qualified candidates with valid work rights may submit their application directly via the contact details provided.
