• Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for an experienced Lead Performance Architect to spearhead performance engineering, load testing, and optimization initiatives for enterprise applications and cloud-based systems. The ideal candidate possesses comprehensive hands-on expertise in performance testing tools, API performance validation, frontend performance optimization, and deep performance monitoring. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Design and execute load, stress, endurance, scalability, and performance testing strategies. - Develop and maintain performance test scripts using Apache JMeter and similar testing tools. - Perform API performance testing for REST/JSON and SOAP-based services. - Analyze and optimize frontend performance specifically for Next.js applications. - Identify performance bottlenecks across CPU, memory, JVM, network, and database layers. - Leverage monitoring and observability tools to analyze system behavior and troubleshoot complex performance issues. - Integrate performance testing and test automation frameworks into CI/CD pipelines. - Collaborate across development, QA, DevOps, and architecture teams to drive application scalability and reliability improvements. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - 12+ years of relevant industry experience in performance engineering and architecture. - Must-have hands-on expertise in Apache JMeter and core performance engineering principles. - Demonstrated proficiency in Next.js frontend performance testing and optimization. - Strong track record in REST/SOAP API performance testing. - Deep expertise in performance monitoring, bottleneck analysis, and multi-layer troubleshooting. - Proven experience with CI/CD integration and test automation frameworks. - Face-to-Face (F2F) interview is mandatory in Austin or Sunnyvale. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States (Onsite role). • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates are invited to share their updated resume via the designated contact email.
