### Role & Company / Project Overview Puglisevich is currently recruiting a Rig Mechanic on behalf of Odfjell Drilling for offshore operations. The role reports directly to the Technical Section Leader within the Technical Department and involves working aboard a DP3 6th Generation Ultra-Deepwater rig operating offshore Newfoundland, Canada. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Supervise, maintain, inspect, and repair mechanical equipment, drilling systems, and related utility systems on board the DP3 rig. • Ensure preventative and corrective maintenance tasks are performed safely, efficiently, and in strict accordance with company standards and manufacturer specifications. • Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and execute timely repairs to minimize equipment downtime. • Ensure proper record-keeping, maintenance logs, and inventory control for mechanical spares and consumables. • Collaborate closely with the Technical Section Leader and offshore crew members to uphold high standards of operational integrity and environmental safety. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Relevant mechanical trade certification, technical diploma, or equivalent marine/offshore mechanical qualification. • Proven experience working as a Rig Mechanic on offshore drilling units, ideally on DP3 or 6th generation ultra-deepwater vessels. • Solid knowledge of marine mechanical systems, drilling machinery, hydraulics, and pneumatic systems. • Valid offshore survival and medical certifications required for offshore operations in Canada. • Strong commitment to offshore health, safety, and environmental standards. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Offshore Newfoundland, Canada (Business Address: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador). • Work Arrangement: Offshore rotational shift schedule. ### Compensation & Benefits • Salary Range: $113,979.42 - $150,652.00 per year. • Comprehensive benefits package applicable. • Foreign Service Premium applicable when travelling outside of home country. ### Application Instructions • Interested candidates must submit their application online through the official application portal.
