### Role & Company / Project Overview Cramer Contracting is seeking an experienced Skilled Trades Craftsman in Rochester, NY. We are a residential design-build remodeling company specializing in kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and home additions throughout Monroe County. The business owner works directly in the field alongside our crew and is looking for a craftsman who takes genuine pride in finished work to deliver high-quality remodels. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform hands-on craftsmanship across every phase of a residential remodel. - Execute demolition and structural framing. - Hang and finish drywall. - Install finish trim, millwork, and custom cabinetry. - Complete finish flooring and detailed tile installations. - Conduct hands-on residential plumbing and electrical work as part of full-scope remodeling projects. - Collaborate closely on-site with the crew and leadership to ensure exceptional project delivery. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 5+ years of hands-on experience in residential remodeling and construction trades. - Pride in craftsmanship with a keen eye for detail and finish quality. - Strong reliability, dedication, and a team-first attitude. - Reliable personal transportation. - Capability to handle multi-trade scopes including carpentry, drywall, tile, plumbing, and electrical. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. - Work Conditions: Weekends off, no on-call duties, and steady, year-round interior work. - Location: Rochester, NY (serving residential sites across Monroe County). ### Compensation & Benefits - Competitive pay based on prior experience. - Paid time off (PTO). - 401(k) retirement plan. - Steady, reliable year-round work without seasonal layoffs. - Clear room for professional advancement into new trades and expanded leadership responsibilities. ### Application Instructions - Apply online through the company careers portal and include photos showcasing work you are proud of. - Inquiries and questions can be directed via phone or text message.
