Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: A First-Grade Classified Main Contractor handling Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) projects is seeking a dedicated Safety Engineer for a high-profile HV & EHV power transmission modifications project in Riyadh. Project Scope: • Modification works for HV & EHV power transmission systems including underground cables and overhead lines • High-risk electrical and civil work environments involving 132 kV and 380 kV transmission systems • Interface and compliance alignment with SEC safety protocols Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Enforce SEC occupational health and safety regulations across all underground cable and overhead line worksites • Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, job safety analyses (JSA), and safety audits • Monitor site work for high-voltage hazards, excavations, lifting operations, and working at heights • Investigate incidents, maintain safety documentation, and report directly to project management and SEC HSE officers Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven safety engineering experience on SEC power transmission projects • Previous SEC approval as Safety Engineer is mandatory • Practical experience in HV / EHV underground cable and overhead transmission line projects • Thorough knowledge of SEC safety manuals, rules, permit-to-work systems, and regulatory standards Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Project Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia • Onsite field safety role Application Instructions: • Send your updated CV specifying "Safety Engineer – [Your Name]" in the email subject.
