Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Kotahi Consulting is hiring a Project Engineer for Earthworks on a major Greenfield mine development project in the mining and resources sector. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Supervise large-scale bulk earthworks, site preparation, civil pads, and drainage systems for a greenfield mine site. - Monitor earthmoving fleet performance, mass haul, contractor production, and grade control. - Coordinate quality documentation, inspection and testing plans (ITPs), and site safety procedures. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field. - Proven project engineering experience in bulk earthworks, mining civil packages, or large-scale infrastructure. - Strong commitment to remote site safety and environmental requirements. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Shift / Roster: 2:1 FIFO (Fly-In Fly-Out) roster. • Compensation & Benefits - Base salary: $150,000 – $160,000 p.a. base + uplift. • Application Instructions Interested candidates are invited to get in touch confidentially via email or phone.
