Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: A leading organization in Qatar, represented by Candidzone, is looking for an experienced Safety Officer for a short-term assignment. The role oversees health, safety, and environmental adherence on construction project sites. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE procedures, safety guidelines, and statutory regulations on the project site. • Conduct routine inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate hazards and unsafe practices. • Ensure all construction workers and on-site staff comply with safety standards and PPE requirements. • Investigate incidents or near-misses, maintain accurate safety logs, and report findings to management. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Total Experience: 5–6 years of total experience, including GCC experience. • Industry Experience: Construction industry experience is mandatory. • Education: B.Sc. Degree is mandatory. • Certifications: NEBOSH and IOSH certifications are mandatory. • Expertise: Strong knowledge of HSE procedures and safety practices. • Availability: Immediate joiners only. • Legal Status: Valid QID (Qatar ID) is mandatory.
