Role & Company / Project Overview: Tata Technologies is hiring a Plastic Trims Tooling & Mold Flow Engineer as part of its Digital Manufacturing division walk-in recruitment drive. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Conduct mold flow simulations, analyze plastic injection molding processes, and optimize tooling designs for automotive plastic trims. • Identify potential molding defects (warpage, sink marks, air traps) and propose design modifications. • Design and validate injection molds, tooling layouts, and gating systems. • Work alongside product engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure tooling feasibility and quality compliance. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Plastics Engineering, Tool Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline. • 3 to 10 years of hands-on experience in plastic trims tooling design and mold flow analysis. • Proficiency in mold flow simulation software (e.g., Moldflow) and CAD design tools.
