Role & Company / Project Overview: Tata Technologies is hiring a Body in White (BIW) Process Engineer for its Digital Manufacturing division based in Pune. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Plan and develop manufacturing processes for automotive Body in White (BIW) joining and assembly lines. • Develop weld sequences, spot/laser/seam welding plans, cycle time estimation, and joining methodologies. • Formulate process sheets, equipment specifications, line architecture, and station layouts. • Coordinate with fixture design, simulation, and plant launch teams to ensure robust process flow. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, or Automotive Engineering. • 3 to 10 years of focused experience in automotive BIW process engineering. • In-depth knowledge of welding processes, joining technologies, and digital manufacturing software.
