Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: - Hinduja Tech, through recruitment partner Relink Talent Solutions, is hiring an experienced Development Lead – Driver Controls with strong automotive engineering experience in the design, development, integration, and validation of driver control systems. - The ideal candidate should have expertise in E-Toggle, Rotary Shifter, Steering Wheel Switches, and Combi Switches, along with mechanical and electronic system integration. - Openings: 1. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead end-to-end development of E-Toggle and Rotary Shifter systems. - Handle Steering Wheel and Combi Switch design and development. - Manage system architecture, sensor integration, and ECU interfaces. - Work on CAD design, packaging, and engineering releases. - Coordinate with suppliers and cross-functional engineering teams. - Handle DFMEA, DVP&R, and vehicle-level validation. - Ensure quality, functional safety, and regulatory compliance. - Support root-cause analysis and continuous improvement. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: B.Tech in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. - Minimum 10 years of relevant experience (10–12 years preferred, up to 14 years may be considered). - Must-Have Skills: Driver Control Switches, E-Toggle / Rotary Shifter, Steering Wheel / Combi Switches, CATIA or UG NX, Teamcenter / PLM, Automotive product development experience. - Good-to-Have Skills: Steering Column Lock, CANoe / CANalyzer, dSPACE HIL / CANape, UDS / XCP Diagnostics, ASPICE / IATF 16949, ISO 26262. - Notice period: Immediate to 25 days. - Maximum expected salary hike: 35% (exceptions may be considered for candidates holding an offer). • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Job Type: Full-Time | On-site. - Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. • Compensation & Benefits: - Salary: ₹8 LPA – ₹12 LPA (INR 800,000 to INR 1,200,000 per year). • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates can share their updated CV with the subject line 'Development Lead – Driver Controls | Pune' via the provided email address.
