Role & Company / Project Overview: A leading Global MNC in the Automotive and EV domain is hiring experienced professionals with expertise in Power Electronics, Motor Control, and MATLAB/Simulink for positions based in Pune, Maharashtra. The role involves working on innovative, challenging projects with global teams on next-generation automotive and electric vehicle technologies. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Develop and implement motor-control algorithms and power-electronics systems. • Perform MATLAB/Simulink modeling, simulation, and validation using Simscape Electrical. • Work on electric drives and system-level simulation and real-time validation. • Design, simulate, and integrate inverter, converter, gate driver, and SMP systems. • Execute embedded systems control tasks, ECU software integration, and C programming on microcontrollers such as STM32. • Carry out real-time testing and validation across MIL, SIL, and HIL platforms using tools like dSPACE or OPAL-RT. • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams on powertrain, battery modeling, and overall EV systems. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 5+ Years of hands-on experience in Power Electronics, Motor Control, and EV domain. • Core Technical Skills: - Power Electronics: Converters, Gate Drivers, SMPS, Inverters, Inverter & Converter Systems. - Motor Control / Motor Drives: Field-Oriented Control (FOC), Sensorless Control, PMSM / BLDC / Electric Motors, Drive Control, Torque/Speed Control. - Simulation & Modeling: MATLAB, Simulink, Simscape Electrical. - Embedded Systems & Hardware: Embedded Control, ECU, STM32, C, Hardware Integration. - Testing & Validation: MIL, SIL, HIL real-time validation (dSPACE / OPAL-RT preferred). - EV & Battery Systems: Battery Management Systems (BMS), SOC/SOH estimation, battery modeling (preferred), EV powertrain systems. - Tools & Technologies: CAN, PCB Design, Power Analysis, EMI/EMC. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. • Work Setup: Full-time on-site MNC environment.
