Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring a Project Manager for a 5-year contract position in the healthcare domain. The role operates on a hybrid schedule based out of Providence, Rhode Island, and requires an in-person interview. Preference is strictly for candidates local to Massachusetts (MA), Connecticut (CT), and Rhode Island (RI). Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Support and lead the implementation of grants, contracts, and strategic planning initiatives. • Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with minimal supervision. • Produce high-quality, professional writing, including policy documents, procurements, and detailed reports. • Travel within Rhode Island for required meetings and site visits. • Coordinate and collaborate across behavioral health, health, or human services system development. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Public Policy, Social Work, or a related field. • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience in program management, policy, or system development within health, behavioral health, or human services. • Demonstrated track record in managing healthcare domain projects, grants, and contracts. • Excellent written communication skills for reporting, procurement, and policy work. • Eligible work authorizations: USC, GC, GC-EAD, H4-EAD, OPT-EAD, H1B, L2, TN. • Preferred: Experience with federal grants, especially SAMHSA or other HHS awards. • Preferred: Knowledge of children's behavioral health, the System of Care framework, and child welfare. • Preferred: Experience working in or with state government, or with Medicaid-funded services. • Preferred: Experience leading teams or managing staff. • Preferred: Experience engaging families and youth with lived experience in policy and program design. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Providence, Rhode Island (Hybrid schedule). • Travel: In-state travel required within Rhode Island for meetings and on-site visits. • Duration: 5 Years Contract (C2C). Compensation & Benefits • Pay Rate: $55 - $65 per hour on C2C (Max).
