Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a highly experienced SQL Server DBA to manage, maintain, optimize, and secure enterprise database environments based in Plano, TX. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage, maintain, optimize, and secure enterprise database environments • Perform database administration and maintenance tasks across Microsoft SQL Server 2016 • Execute SQL query optimization and database performance tuning • Implement and maintain comprehensive backup and recovery as well as disaster recovery strategies • Enforce database security protocols, user permissions, and ensure data integrity • Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot stored procedures and complex SQL queries • Conduct continuous database monitoring, diagnostic checks, and troubleshooting Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • 10+ years (ideally 10–12+ years) of strong hands-on SQL Server DBA experience • Core expertise in Microsoft SQL Server 2016, DBMS administration, performance tuning, and backup/recovery • Strong background in database security, integrity, stored procedures, and complex SQL querying • Preferred experience with Azure SQL Database and Cloud Database Administration • Preferred experience with Snowflake, MongoDB, and DynamoDB • Familiarity with database automation and specialized monitoring tools Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Plano, Texas, United States Application Instructions: Interested candidates should share their profile or contact the recruiter directly.
