Role & Company / Project Overview GreatASIC is hiring Physical Design Engineers to join their team in Malaysia. Multiple positions are available, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Manage and execute all phases of physical implementation from floorplanning, powerplanning, place & route, CTS, formal verification, and analysis including general timing, power, DRC, and other quality of results. • Serve as an expert in place and route, static timing analysis (STA), and synthesis. • Handle high-speed and low-power design implementations including clock gating, power gating, and multi-voltage designs. • Develop physical constraints and optimization techniques for design convergence. • Perform analysis and provide engineering judgment for design challenges and necessary trade-offs. • Contribute to all aspects of physical design from synthesis through signoff, including development and enhancement of flows and methodologies. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering or equivalent. • Experience with advanced process node SoC, IP, fullchip & partition physical design implementation, timing closure, and verification using Synopsys and/or Cadence solutions. • Experience in physical verification (DRC & LVS) is an added advantage. • Experience in SoC design flow and methodology. • Good knowledge in shell scripting, PERL, and TCL. • Fresh graduates possessing relevant educational background are encouraged to apply.
