### Role & Company / Project Overview Heli Niugini Limited is seeking experienced Helicopter Pilots (Captains / Pilot-in-Command) on Airbus H145 D2 / BK117 D-2 and BK117 aircraft types to join their professional team delivering safe, reliable, and essential aviation services across Papua New Guinea. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Conduct safe and reliable helicopter operations across Papua New Guinea. • Execute utility, external-load, and Vertical Reference Long Line (VRLL) flight operations. • Perform flight duties in high-density-altitude, mountainous, and remote-area environments. • Conduct confined-area, pinnacle, and ridgeline operations. • Carry out aviation missions supporting resource-sector and mining operations. • Complete HNL sling, VRLL, and aircraft competency checks. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Licence: Valid CPL(H) or ATPL(H) acceptable for validation or conversion under CASA PNG (preference given to PNG licence holders). • Aircraft type rating/endorsement on Airbus H145 D2 / BK117 D-2 or BK117. • Valid aviation medical certificates and current CRM / Human Factors recurrent training. • Sling / external-load qualification and Vertical Reference Long Line (VRLL) experience. • Total Flight Experience: Minimum 2,500 hours total helicopter time. • Pilot-in-Command Experience: Minimum 1,500 hours PIC. • Multi-Engine Experience: Minimum 500 hours PIC multi-engine. • Type Experience: Minimum 100 hours PIC on type. • External Load / VRLL Experience: Minimum 200 hours external-load / sling operations and minimum 100 hours vertical-reference operations. • Demonstrated VRLL / long-line experience and proven competency in confined, mountainous, and remote environments. • Previous Papua New Guinea operating experience and resource-sector/mining aviation experience are highly desirable. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Papua New Guinea (remote, mountainous, and resource-sector project areas). ### Application Instructions Send applications via email with the subject line 'Helicopter Pilot Application - H145 D2 / BK117'.
