Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are hiring for one of our direct clients. We are looking for a Mechanical Engineering professional with an industrial manufacturing background to support liquid cooling components and fluid conveyance solutions for data center infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical products, industrial fluid systems, engineering drawings, product specifications, and technical customer support. This is a manufacturing and mechanical engineering role, not a software or IT engineering position. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Support liquid cooling components and fluid conveyance solutions including manifolds, cold plates, and Coolant Distribution Units (CDUs) - Work with data center operators, equipment manufacturers (OEMs/ODMs), system integrators, and cooling system manufacturers to understand technical requirements and connection types - Coordinate with Sales, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure products meet customer requirements - Support quotations, product costing, lead-time analysis, and part-activation processes - Maintain engineering drawings, product specifications, and revision-controlled documentation in Teamcenter/PLM - Collect customer feedback and provide engineering inputs for product improvements and new product development • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline - 3–5 years (within 3–8 years total range) of experience in mechanical applications engineering, product engineering, or field engineering within industrial manufacturing - Experience with mechanical components, fluid conveyance systems, hoses, fittings, connectors, or cooling equipment - Knowledge of engineering drawings, pressure and flow requirements, material selection, and mechanical product specifications - Experience with product testing, qualification, validation, troubleshooting, or engineering change processes - Ability to work with manufacturing, quality, design engineering, and customer-facing technical teams - Business-level proficiency in Japanese and English - Teamcenter/PLM experience preferred; SAP and Salesforce knowledge is an advantage - Preferred Industry Background: Industrial equipment and component manufacturing; fluid handling, hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and connectors; data center liquid cooling and thermal management equipment; HVAC and industrial cooling systems; pumps, valves, heat exchangers, and pressure systems; mechanical product development and application engineering • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Employment Type: Full-Time - Location: Osaka, Japan (On-site) • Compensation & Benefits - Not specified • Application Instructions - Interested candidates are invited to share their updated Resume/CV via direct message or email.
