Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Databricks Data Modeler to design and optimize enterprise data models within a modern Lakehouse architecture for client DXC Technology. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, Databricks, Delta Lake, and Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers on a 6+ Months W2 contract duration. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise analytics. - Build scalable Silver-layer enterprise assets and curated Gold-layer data products. - Work with Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog. - Develop and optimize data models using SQL, Spark SQL, Python, and PySpark. - Use Erwin Data Modeler or comparable enterprise modeling tools. - Support data governance, lineage, metadata management, data contracts, and schema evolution. - Enable BI, AI/ML, and real-time analytics use cases. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 5+ years of enterprise data modeling experience. - 3+ years of Databricks Lakehouse modeling experience. - Strong knowledge of enterprise data architecture and analytical modeling. - Proven expertise with Databricks Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, Spark SQL, Python, PySpark, and Erwin Data Modeler or comparable tools. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Duration: 6+ Months contract basis (W2). • Application Instructions - Submit applications to the recruitment team lead for review.
