Role & Company / Project Overview: QMTC is an emerging research, education, and technology venture developing an integrated digital ecosystem featuring virtual laboratories, interactive 3D simulations, digital twins, scientific research platforms, and AI-enabled innovation. We are seeking a high-calibre Chief Technology Officer (CTO) with a strong engineering foundation, proven technology leadership, and hands-on experience in 3D technology, interactive simulations, digital twins, or advanced web-based 3D applications. This opportunity is for a technology builder—not just a technology manager—who can translate ambitious ideas into scalable, high-impact products. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Define overall technology roadmap, software architecture, and system design. • Lead the development and scaling of 3D simulations, virtual labs, interactive digital platforms, and scientific research systems from concept to launch. • Oversee cloud infrastructure, scalability, reliability, and security across the entire ecosystem. • Drive AI integration across products with strong emphasis on reliability, grounding, and cost controls. • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing engineering teams. • Collaborate closely with researchers, educators, and product stakeholders to translate visionary goals into practical development milestones. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Strong engineering foundation with proven technology leadership experience. • Hands-on expertise in 3D technology, WebGL, Three.js, Babylon.js, Unity, Unreal Engine, or digital twins. • Experience at leading technology companies such as Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, or other top-tier MNCs and product-led organizations. • Strong academic background from IITs, IIITs, NITs, IIMs, or reputed global/international universities. • Proven track record of building and scaling real-world technology products from concept to launch. • Advanced capabilities in software architecture, system engineering, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. • Engagement Type: The engagement may begin on a fractional/part-time basis, with a planned transition to full-time employment subject to funding and mutually agreed conditions.
