Job description
Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring a Data & Reporting Product Manager in the BFSI / Lending / FinTech industry who can translate business requirements into trusted, reliable reporting. This is not a coordination-only Product Manager role; we require someone who can personally work with SQL, inspect schemas, trace data across lending systems, identify the right source of truth, and build reporting that stakeholders can confidently use. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Convert reporting requirements from Risk, Collections, Finance and Operations into clear specifications • Trace data lineage across LOS, LMS and Collections systems • Identify the correct source of truth for each business metric • Resolve data conflicts such as duplicate records, mismatched keys and timing lags across systems • Build and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio • Own and prioritize the reporting backlog • Define clear acceptance criteria for reports and dashboards • Work closely with Data Engineering on schema and pipeline changes • Maintain a single data dictionary so business metrics remain consistent across reports Success Outcomes in this Role: • A stakeholder-approved data dictionary for key business metrics • Faster and more structured report delivery • Reliable dashboards with clearly defined data sources • Permanent resolution of major cross-system data conflicts Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Experience: 3–4 Years in Analytics, BI, Data Product Management or similar roles • Strong hands-on SQL knowledge including joins, CTEs and window functions • Working knowledge of BigQuery • Hands-on experience building dashboards in Looker Studio or similar BI tools • Demonstrated experience resolving discrepancies across multiple data sources • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills • Proven ability to convert vague business requirements into clear and testable reporting specifications • Good to Have: Experience in BFSI, FinTech, NBFC or Digital Lending • Good to Have: Exposure to LOS, LMS or Collections systems • Good to Have: Knowledge of dbt or similar data transformation tools • Good to Have: Understanding of lending metrics such as DPD, PAR, disbursement funnel and collection efficiency • Good to Have: Basic Python knowledge for data validation Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Mumbai (On-site) Application Instructions: • Interested candidates can share their CV with the subject line 'Data & Reporting Product Manager'.
