Role & Company / Project Overview: We are hiring an Estimation Engineer to join our Pre-Sales & Estimation team. The role will be responsible for converting customer/project requirements into accurate technical estimates, BOQs, and commercial costing for Cold Room & Cold Storage applications. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Understand and analyse requirements received from the Sales/Business team. • Prepare detailed BOQs for Cold Room & Cold Storage projects. • Calculate PUF panel quantities, area, and requirements based on project drawings/specifications. • Perform heat load calculations for different cold room applications. • Assist in refrigeration equipment selection based on heat load and application requirements. • Prepare detailed material-wise project costing and estimates. • Coordinate with the Procurement team and/or vendors to obtain current material and equipment prices. • Evaluate vendor quotations and incorporate appropriate pricing into the estimation. • Prepare commercial estimates and costing for pre-sales proposals and customer requirements. • Coordinate with Sales and Technical teams to clarify project requirements and revise estimates when required. • Review drawings/specifications and identify material and equipment requirements. • Maintain estimation sheets, costing data, and vendor price information. • Ensure accuracy of quantities, technical requirements, and pricing before submission. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline. • 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Cold Room, Cold Storage, Refrigeration, Estimation, or Pre-Sales. • Good understanding of PUF panels, refrigeration systems, and cold room applications. • Hands-on experience in BOQ preparation, heat load calculation, and project costing. • Basic AutoCAD knowledge and ability to understand engineering drawings. • Good analytical, coordination, and communication skills. • Experience in vendor coordination and obtaining quotations will be an added advantage. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. • Function: Pre-Sales / Estimation. • Employment Type: Contractual – Third-Party Payroll.
