Role & Company / Project Overview: UniCloud is hiring a Senior Cloud Engineer (OCI) based in Mumbai to architect, deploy, and maintain robust cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Design, deploy, manage, and optimize cloud infrastructure on AWS or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). • Manage compute instances, cloud storage, networking components, load balancers, and cloud-native services. • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) utilizing Terraform or comparable tooling. • Monitor cloud environments proactively for system performance, high availability, security standards, and cost optimization. • Troubleshoot complex cloud, networking, operating system, and underlying infrastructure issues. • Implement industry best practices for cloud security, identity and access management (IAM), backup, disaster recovery, and continuous monitoring. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Cloud Engineering / Infrastructure Management (post title notes 2+ years). • Strong, proven hands-on experience working with AWS and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). • Solid working knowledge of Linux and Windows environments, networking fundamentals, virtualization, and server management. • Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation tools: Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or Python. • Strong understanding of IAM, cloud security architecture, backup procedures, and disaster recovery planning. • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
