Role & Company / Project Overview: Neopetro Sdn Bhd is hiring a Senior HR / HR Executive based in Miri, Sarawak to oversee comprehensive human resource functions across operations. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Oversee overall HR operations, including recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and HR administration • Develop, implement, and monitor employee KPIs • Lead and coordinate internal and external HR audits, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies • Develop, review, and update the HR manual, company policies, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) • Review and verify staff and crew payroll, including salary adjustments, claims, deductions, and statutory contributions • Manage employee and crew training, including HRD Corp grant applications and claims • Ensure compliance with Malaysian employment laws, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB requirements • Advise management on HR-related matters, including employee relations, performance management, manpower planning, disciplinary matters, and compliance • Maintain strict confidentiality of all employee records, payroll information, management decisions, and other sensitive company information Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field • Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role • Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws, payroll administration, and statutory compliance • Experience in KPI development, performance management, HR audits, and HR manual preparation • Experience in the marine or oil and gas industry is an advantage • Strong leadership, communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills • Able to work independently, multitask, and meet deadlines • High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion, with a proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and safeguard sensitive employee payroll and company data Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia (Piasau Industrial Estate) • Work Type: Full-time On-site Application Instructions: • Submit updated CV and relevant certificates via email
