• Role & Company / Project Overview: Intermarine APAC is hiring a seasoned Roving Training Master for its bulk carrier fleet. The fleet requires an experienced Master capable of bringing out the best in both older tonnage ships and their crews to ensure vessel performance and safety compliance. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Sail on board the bulk carrier fleet as a Roving Training Master. - Prepare crews and vessels for PSC (Port State Control) inspections and RightShip audits. - Coach, mentor, and motivate crews to lift operational and safety standards on board. - Find operational gaps, close deficiencies, and build a strong safety culture. - Help older tonnage pass vetting and regulatory inspections with clean results. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Prior experience as a Roving Training Master (a MUST). - Strong knowledge of PSC and RightShip standards, with hands-on experience in both. - A proven track record of preparing vessels for successful inspections. - Command experience on bulk carriers. - Valid Master Mariner CoC and STCW certificates. - Exceptional leadership personality that motivates crews, drives change, and leads by example. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Work Type: Sea-based contract role. - Location / Base: Philippines (Interviews held in Manila). • Compensation & Benefits: - Opportunity to make a real, visible impact on vessel performance, shape crews, and advance careers along the way. • Application Instructions: Candidates who meet the practical experience and certifications should submit their updated CV for interview scheduling in Manila.
