Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Superintendent to oversee vessel operations, technical maintenance, dry docking, compliance, cost control, and HSSEQ standards within a marine fuel supplies environment. • Industry: Fuel Supplies • Employment Type: Full Time Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Manage safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible vessel operations. • Oversee daily technical operations in line with HSSEQ requirements. • Advise Masters and Chief Engineers on technical and operational matters. • Monitor class and statutory certification, surveys, and conditions of class. • Coordinate vessel repairs, maintenance, and technical services. • Conduct vessel visits and prepare detailed technical reports. • Review monthly cost reports and support annual budgeting. • Coordinate dry docking specifications, quotations, evaluations, and execution. • Attend dry dockings and review shipyard invoices and completion reports. • Monitor purchasing activities, vessel orders, and invoice approvals. • Support emergency response activities for assigned vessels. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor of Technology in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent. • Experience in marine engineering or vessel technical operations is advantageous. • Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, repairs, dry docking, class, and statutory requirements. • Good understanding of HSSEQ, safety, environmental, and compliance standards. • Strong coordination skills with shipyards, suppliers, Masters, Chief Engineers, and authorities. • Good cost control, planning, reporting, and technical documentation skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and related tools. • Strong problem-solving, communication, coordination, and decision-making skills. • Ability to manage multiple vessel-related priorities and deadlines.
