Role & Company / Project Overview: JLG Development Sdn Bhd (JLand Group - A JCorp Company) is seeking an experienced Development Lead (Pre-Development). Before a project breaks ground, this role connects the dots between a great idea and a workable development—ensuring the design makes sense, numbers work, approvals come through, and everyone moves towards the same goal. Working closely with the Head of Planning (Pre-Development), the Development Lead leads assigned projects from concept to pre-construction readiness. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Project planning, design reviews, and consultant coordination. • Managing budgets, work programmes, timelines, and risk management. • Tender preparation and contract award coordination with Supply Chain Management. • Authority submissions, statutory approvals, and stakeholder engagement. • Ensuring quality, comprehensive documentation, and compliance with company SOPs. • Bringing project teams together, asking difficult questions, and driving practical solutions. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • At least 10 years of relevant property development or real estate project management experience, with a strong focus on pre-development. • Proven track record of leading complex projects from concept to pre-construction stage. • Confident in managing architectural/engineering designs, budgets, schedules, and multiple multidisciplinary project teams. • Strong understanding of local planning requirements and statutory authority approval processes. • Degree in Real Estate Development, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. • PMP (Project Management Professional) or an equivalent professional certification is an added advantage. • Relevant property development experience and demonstrated pre-development leadership are mandatory for shortlisting. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Malaysia. • Full-time pre-development management role. Compensation & Benefits: • Salary: RM 11,000 to RM 25,300 per month.
