Role & Company / Project Overview Kintec Global Recruitment is looking for a Lifting Engineer for an offshore Oil and Gas Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) project in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Plan, review, and approve critical lifting operations and lifting plans for offshore construction and hook-up activities. • Inspect lifting equipment, rigging tackle, and cranes ensuring compliance with offshore safety standards. • Coordinate with offshore construction and installation crews to ensure safe rigging and heavy lift operations. • Support multidisciplinary teams with lifting studies and crane capacity evaluations. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Previous offshore lifting engineering experience on Oil & Gas HUC / EPC / EPCI projects. • Background in offshore platform topsides, heavy rigging, and crane operations. • Proven expertise in lifting standards, rigging safety, and multidisciplinary coordination. • Familiarity with offshore construction workflows and mechanical completions. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Malaysia (Offshore / Project Site). • Project: Major Oil & Gas Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC). • Availability: Immediate start or notice period buyout potentially available.
