Role & Company / Project Overview Kintec Global Recruitment is seeking a Structure Engineer for a major Oil and Gas Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) project in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Provide structural engineering support for offshore hook-up, modification, and topside installation activities. • Review structural installation procedures, sea-fastening, rigging arrangements, and site structural modifications. • Coordinate with fabrication, construction, and inspection teams to ensure structural integrity. • Manage structural punch list items and support system completion processes. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Experience in structural engineering for Offshore Oil & Gas HUC / EPC / EPCI projects. • Familiarity with offshore platform topsides, brownfield modifications, and primary/secondary structures. • Understanding of construction, pre-commissioning, and mechanical completion workflows. • Ability to work within multidisciplinary engineering and construction teams. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Malaysia (Offshore / Project Site). • Project: Major Oil & Gas Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC). • Availability: Immediate start or notice period buyout potentially available.
