Role & Company / Project Overview Kintec Global Recruitment is hiring a Commissioning Electrical Engineer for a major Oil and Gas Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) project in Malaysia. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties • Lead electrical testing, switchgear energization, and commissioning of offshore electrical power distribution systems. • Prepare and execute electrical commissioning procedures, checklists, and punch lists. • Ensure all systems meet mechanical completion and handover criteria using CMS. • Work closely with construction, engineering, and vendor representatives. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience • Proven experience on Offshore Oil & Gas HUC projects. • Strong EPC/EPCI background on offshore platforms, topsides, or brownfield assets. • Hands-on commissioning, pre-commissioning, and start-up experience with high/medium/low voltage electrical systems. • Familiarity with Mechanical Completion, Punch Lists, and Completions Management Systems (CMS). Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details • Location: Malaysia (Offshore / Project Site). • Project: Major Oil & Gas Hook-Up & Commissioning (HUC). • Availability: Immediate start or notice period buyout potentially available.
