### Role & Company / Project Overview vTech Solution is hiring a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator (Sr. SQL DBA) for a 6-month contract opportunity with a client based in Little Rock, Arkansas. This position requires an in-person interview only and is suited for a senior-level database professional with extensive experience managing business-critical production and non-production SQL Server environments. ### Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Manage, monitor, and maintain business-critical production and non-production SQL Server environments. - Perform end-to-end database installation, upgrades, patching, routine maintenance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery planning and execution. - Utilize and manage SQL Server Agent, Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, DMVs, Linked Servers, and SQL Server security/auditing. - Handle database capacity planning, storage management, and integration with AWS storage systems. - Configure and support Windows Failover Cluster Service, Always On availability groups, and other high-availability environments. - Execute T-SQL programming, performance tuning, and database ETL methodologies. - Administer Windows Server environments (3+ years). - Utilize PowerShell, manage AWS EC2 instances, oversee endpoint protection, and handle server configuration and maintenance. ### Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 4+ years of experience in SQL Server Database Administration with SQL Server 2022 or later. - Expertise in installation, upgrades, patching, routine maintenance, backup/recovery, and disaster recovery. - Hands-on experience with SQL Server Agent, Profiler, Extended Events, Performance Monitor, DMVs, Linked Servers, and SQL Server security/auditing. - Experience in capacity planning, storage management, and AWS storage systems. - Knowledge of Windows Failover Cluster Service, Always On, and other high-availability environments. - Proficiency in T-SQL, performance tuning, and ETL methodologies. - 3+ years of Windows Server Administration experience. - Experience with PowerShell, EC2, endpoint protection, and server configuration/maintenance. ### Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, United States. - Interview Requirement: In-person interview only. - Duration: 6-month contract. ### Compensation & Benefits - Contract engagement (compensation details not specified). ### Application Instructions Interested candidates who are a strong fit should reach out directly to Jatin Mahajan via phone or email.
