Role & Company / Project Overview: Signfab (UK) Ltd, known as the home of trade signs, is hiring for the position of Trainee Metal Operative at their factories located in Leicester. This opening welcomes candidates who are keen to learn and start a career in metal fabrication and sign manufacturing. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Learn and assist in day-to-day metal operative tasks within the factory workshop. • Support skilled fabricators in cutting, shaping, preparing, and assembling metal components for signage production. • Adhere strictly to factory health and safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment. • Follow workshop instructions and operational guidelines to deliver high-quality trade sign products. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Trainee level position open to individuals who are enthusiastic and keen to learn metal trade skills. • No prior extensive experience required; commitment, reliability, and mechanical aptitude are valued. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM. • Location: Factory-based in Leicester, Leicestershire, United Kingdom.
