Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Linkit Resource Partnership Limited (LRL) is currently recruiting for Fabricator Welders to start work in the West Midlands area. The role operates on a 12-week temporary to permanent basis within a fabrication workshop environment. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Carry out MIG and TIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel materials. • Perform fabrication and assembly duties according to workshop specifications and standards. • Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety within the workshop setting. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • More than 3 years of experience working within fabrication workshops. • Proven proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes on mild and stainless steel. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: French Walls, Smethwick, West Midlands. • Normal working hours: 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. • Overtime rates: Hours worked before and after normal shift hours are paid at x1.3. • Weekend rates: Saturday before 1:00 pm paid at x1.3, Saturday after 1:00 pm paid at x1.5, and Sunday paid at x2. Compensation & Benefits: • Hourly rates: £16 to £17 per hour (equivalent to £33,280 - £35,360 annually). • Overtime premium multipliers. • Progression opportunity from 12 weeks temp to permanent.
