• Role & Company / Project Overview tCognition is hiring a Programmer Analyst 6 - Senior IBM Master Data Management (MDM) & Integration Developer based in Lansing, Michigan (Job ID: 1776). The role centers on maintaining and enhancing key enterprise data applications, specifically the Master Person Index, Michigan Index Data Stewardship Portal, and Symmetry applications. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Write functional requirement documents throughout the system development life cycle. - Develop PowerShell scripts to automate administrative tasks and workflows. - Execute SQL scripts in close coordination with Database Administrators (DBAs). - Generate and maintain monthly MDM reports. - Collaborate directly with infrastructure teams to deploy system and security certificates. - Actively monitor both production and non-production environments. - Support ticket resolution and execute Request for Change (RFC) implementation. - Design comprehensive test plans, conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and track defects to resolution. - Keep technical and system documentation current throughout all phases of the SDLC. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Demonstrated expertise in IBM Master Data Management (IBM MDM) and integration architecture. - Strong proficiency with Apache Kafka, Linux operating environments, PowerShell scripting, SQL, and Git version control. - Solid experience in SDLC documentation, defect management, and UAT execution. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Lansing, Michigan, United States. • Application Instructions - Apply online or submit your resume citing Job ID: 1776 via the designated staffing contact channels.
