• Role & Company / Project Overview: The Oak PR is hiring a PR Intern for a full-time hybrid position based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role is designed for creative, tech-savvy individuals who are curious about the media and communications industry, ready to think on their feet, and eager to gain hands-on experience in public relations, media, content creation, and communications. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Research industry trends, media outlets, journalists, and story opportunities. - Assist with writing press releases, media pitches, articles, captions, and reports. - Create content across written, visual, and video formats using tools such as Canva and CapCut. - Attend events to gather information, capture content, and support on-site activities. - Support media monitoring, PR campaigns, social media management, and client projects. - Track assigned tasks, document activities, and meet deadlines. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Must be an NYSC corps member or someone who has recently completed NYSC. - Possess a degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or another relevant field. - Strong writing, research, and communication skills. - Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, and digital tools. - Creative, proactive, organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Full-time hybrid role based in Lagos, Nigeria. - Must be based in Lagos and available to attend physical meetings and events when required. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Submit CV and cover letter via email with the subject line format: PR Intern Application – [Your Full Name].
