Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Softenger Malaysia is seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join the IT infrastructure team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The role centers on modern cloud platforms, container orchestration, CI/CD automation, and infrastructure management. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Provision and manage cloud and platform infrastructure using Terraform and Ansible. - Administer, orchestrate, and optimize container environments across Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker. - Support and scale Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure (Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure Networking). - Oversee Linux system administration and develop infrastructure automation scripts and playbooks. - Implement Git/GitOps practices, manage CI/CD pipelines, and drive DevOps methodologies. - Perform platform monitoring, security compliance, troubleshooting, and Log Analytics in Azure. - Apply cloud architecture best practices, security controls, and governance. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - Minimum 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud infrastructure. - Only Local Malaysian candidates are eligible to apply. - Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform & Ansible. - Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, OpenShift & Docker. - Proven track record with Microsoft Azure Cloud Infrastructure. - In-depth Linux Administration & Infrastructure Automation capabilities. - Expertise in Git/GitOps, CI/CD & DevOps methodologies. - Strong background in Platform Monitoring, Security & Troubleshooting. - Cloud & Modern Platform Skills: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Monitoring and Log Analytics, Cloud architecture, security & best practices. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. - Role restricted to local Malaysian nationals. • Application Instructions - Interested applicants can submit their resume via email or WhatsApp.
