Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Raja Group, a premier textile conglomerate and leading textile manufacturing company operating a state-of-the-art spinning facility with a capacity of 1,00,000+ spindles producing high-quality combed, carded, and blended yarns for both domestic and international markets, is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and result-oriented Plant Head / General Manager to take complete operational and financial ownership of their spinning unit. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Operational Leadership: Direct all daily mill operations across the blow room, carding, combing, speed frame, ring spinning, auto-coner, and packing sections. - Production & Efficiency: Meet production targets, maximize yarn realization rates, and minimize hard and soft waste percentages. - Quality Assurance: Maintain rigorous yarn quality standards (CSP, U%, imperfections, hairiness) to satisfy demanding domestic and export clients. - Maintenance & Downtime Control: Oversee preventive and breakdown maintenance schedules for modern spinning machinery (e.g., Rieter, LMW, Truetzschler, Murata) to achieve zero operational bottlenecks. - Cost & P&L Optimization: Manage the plant budget and actively drive cost-reduction initiatives in power consumption, labor efficiency, and store's inventory. - Workforce Management & Statutory Compliance: Lead a large team of managers, engineers, and workers. Ensure compliance with labor laws, industrial safety codes, and environmental regulations. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Textile Technology or Textile Engineering. - Experience: Minimum 15+ years of hardcore spinning mill experience, with a proven track record of at least 5 years managing a large-scale plant as a Plant Head or Unit Head. - Technical Mastery: Deep understanding of fiber characteristics, machine settings optimization, and modern spinning technology. - Leadership Traits: Exceptional strategic planning, team building, communication, and problem-solving skills under pressure. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Location: Kadi, Gujarat, India. - Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent. • Compensation & Benefits: - Not specified. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates who match the profile criteria can submit their updated CV to the designated HR email or apply via the company website.
