Role & Company / Project Overview: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Jira and integration experience to support business and technology initiatives in an onsite environment. The position is a contract role with a two-round face-to-face interview process, open to local candidates only. The ideal candidate will have extensive background in requirements elicitation, process analysis, Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and business/technical system integrations. Industry experience in the energy or utilities domain is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to understand strategic business objectives, ongoing processes, operational workflows, and challenges. • Elicit, document, analyze, and validate comprehensive business and technical requirements. • Conduct stakeholder interviews, collaborative workshops, and detailed use-case analysis. • Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications, detailed user stories, and clear acceptance criteria. • Work closely with software developers, QA teams, and product managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood, validated, and accurately implemented. • Analyze existing enterprise systems and business processes to identify gaps, bottlenecks, and opportunities for process improvement. • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), test planning activities, and overall solution validation. • Create process models, workflow diagrams, data-flow diagrams, and comprehensive business analysis documentation. • Track requirements, user stories, defects, and project deliverables using Jira and Confluence. • Regularly communicate project status, risks, issues, dependencies, and business outcomes to key stakeholders. • Support integration-related requirements and coordinate actively with technical teams on system interfaces and data exchange. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Business System Analyst working on technology initiatives. • Strong hands-on proficiency with Jira and Confluence for tracking requirements, stories, and defects. • Demonstrated experience in system integrations, APIs, and coordinating interface specifications. • Strong background in Agile / Scrum methodologies, requirements gathering, functional requirements documentation, and UAT. • Proficiency in process modeling, data-flow diagrams, and SQL/system analysis. • Prior domain experience in Energy or Utilities is highly preferred. • Must be a local candidate able to attend two rounds of face-to-face interviews.
