Role & Company / Project Overview: Profectus Jakarta is looking for a passionate and dedicated Indonesian Therapist to join an international, live-in placement as a Special Needs Teacher / ABA Support professional. This overseas placement offers a meaningful opportunity to make a positive impact in a child's life by empowering them to learn, grow, and build independence. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Provide individualized, one-to-one educational and developmental support. • Support school routines and classroom participation as a shadow teacher. • Develop and teach daily-living skills, including toilet training, dressing, and self-care independence. • Build communication, social skills, and overall independence. • Plan structured, enjoyable, and age-appropriate learning activities. • Implement positive reinforcement strategies and follow professional therapeutic recommendations. • Monitor learning progress and submit regular documentation and reports. • Collaborate closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and other multidisciplinary professionals. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Bachelor's degree in Special Needs Education, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. • Prior experience working with autism, developmental delays, ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis), early intervention, or shadow teaching (2+ years preferred). • ABA, ABAT, RBT, IBT, or similar relevant certification is considered an advantage. • Demonstrates a caring, proactive, organized, and highly professional attitude. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Location: Overseas international placement. • Job Type: Live-in position.
