Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview: Seeking a hands-on IT professional with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities to manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, business systems, IT operations, and technology projects in Islamabad. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Infrastructure & Operations: - Manage and maintain servers, networks, cloud infrastructure, and databases. - Handle hands-on configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution. - Ensure system uptime, performance, and reliability. - Act as the first responder for critical IT incidents. - Administer ERP, HRMS, CRM, and core business applications. - Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures. - Cybersecurity: - Implement and maintain cybersecurity, endpoint protection, and data security controls. - Conduct vulnerability scans and patch management. - Lead incident response during security events. - Maintain compliance with applicable data protection and information security requirements. - IT Service & Support: - Resolve escalated helpdesk and technical issues directly. - Define and monitor IT service-level agreements (SLAs). - Improve support processes based on recurring issues. - Manage IT vendors and monitor service delivery. - Projects & Automation: - Lead technology implementation and upgrade projects. - Remain involved in technical execution, configuration, testing, and cutover. - Identify and drive automation and process-integration opportunities. - Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks. - Team Leadership: - Build, mentor, and lead a small-to-mid-sized IT team. - Work alongside the team on technical challenges. - Promote ownership and hands-on problem solving. - Support technical development and performance management. - Budget & Vendor Management: - Assist in preparing and monitoring IT budgets. - Evaluate technology purchases and vendor proposals for cost-effectiveness and suitability. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline. - Experience: 6–8 years of progressive IT experience. - Technical Skills: Strong hands-on experience in network and server administration; practical experience with ERP/business systems and cybersecurity fundamentals; demonstrated experience in hands-on technical problem resolution. - Certifications: Relevant certifications such as ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, or equivalent are preferred. - Competencies: Ability to work directly with technical teams and handle critical issues under pressure. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Work Arrangement: On-site. - Location: Islamabad, Pakistan. - Timings: 6:00 PM – 3:00 AM | Night Shift. • Application Instructions: - Send CV to the email address provided in the contact section with the subject line 'Sr. Manager IT'.
