Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Dolphin Offshore is hiring a certified Crane Operator for offshore drilling rig operations to perform lifting and materials handling between supply vessels and the rig deck. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Safely operate pedestal cranes to load and unload materials from supply boats. • Conduct lifts across the rig deck, including drilling equipment, containers, and bulk hoses. • Perform pre-use crane inspections, wire rope checks, and monitor wind/sea-state limitations. • Supervise banksmen, slingers, and deck roustabouts during lifting activities. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Valid Offshore Crane Operator Stage 2/3 certification or recognized equivalent. • Substantial offshore crane operating background under varying sea conditions. • Comprehensive understanding of lifting plans, rigging gear, and offshore safety protocols. Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: • Rotational offshore schedule. • Onsite offshore rig location. Compensation & Benefits: • Competitive offshore industry pay scale.
