Job description

Role & Company / Project Overview: Dolphin Offshore is hiring a Radio Operator to manage radio communications, aviation links, and logistics tracking for an offshore drilling rig. Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: • Operate marine VHF/HF radios, satellite communication systems, and radar installations. • Communicate with helicopters, supply vessels, standby boats, and onshore logistics bases. • Maintain offshore personnel on board (POB) lists, helicopter manifests, and safety logs. • Manage emergency distress communications and support offshore search and rescue coordination. Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: • Valid GMDSS (General Operator's Certificate) and CAA offshore radio qualifications where applicable. • Experience in offshore radio communications and flight following systems. • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
