• Role & Company / Project Overview: TÜV SÜD is hiring an experienced and passionate IoT & Web Penetration Testing Specialist. In this role, you will perform challenging security assessments discovering vulnerabilities across complex digital, firmware, and connected medical device ecosystems with a strong problem-solving mindset. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties: - Lead end-to-end IoT and web penetration testing projects, from scoping to exploitation and executive reporting. - Identify and exploit security vulnerabilities in medical IoT devices, firmware, and connected ecosystems. - Perform advanced security assessments, including privilege escalation and firmware analysis. - Develop and enhance internal penetration testing tools, scripts, and methodologies. - Research emerging attack techniques, tools, and cybersecurity trends. - Collaborate with security experts, share technical research, and mentor team members. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, or a related field. - Total Experience: 4+ years of relevant experience. - Minimum 2 years of dedicated IoT penetration testing experience. - Minimum 4 years of experience in web, mobile, and thick-client application security assessments. - Preferred Certifications: OSCP, OSEP, OSED, OSWP, or HTB CPTS. - Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of open-source and commercial penetration testing tools; hands-on experience with vulnerability assessment and exploitation; basic understanding of medical device technology; familiarity with cybersecurity standards and frameworks such as OWASP and NIST; strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details: - Additional Requirement: Willingness to travel frequently to client locations and global laboratories. • Compensation & Benefits: - Opportunity to work on challenging IoT and medical device security projects, explore advanced penetration testing techniques, collaborate with skilled cybersecurity professionals, and contribute to innovative security tools and research. • Application Instructions: - Interested candidates should apply by sending their profile to the designated contact email.
