Job description
• Role & Company / Project Overview Febatech is looking for an experienced and skilled Active Directory Engineer to join the technical operations team. This is a fully remote position supporting enterprise-level directory services and identity infrastructure. • Key Responsibilities & Daily Duties - Perform hands-on Active Directory administration across multiple domains and forest infrastructures. - Manage and maintain Domain Controllers, DNS, Group Policy Objects (GPOs), Active Directory replication, FSMO roles, and overall AD health monitoring. - Handle Windows Server administration, system patching, backup, disaster recovery, and maintenance. - Manage identity and access features including Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD), Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Certificate Services, and modern authentication mechanisms. - Utilize PowerShell scripting for routine automation, identity lifecycle management, and troubleshooting identity-related incidents. - Provide support in a 24x7 operational environment and participate in scheduled on-call rotations as required. • Required Qualifications, Skills & Experience - 6 to 8 years of relevant technical experience in Active Directory and Windows Server infrastructure. - Strong expertise with multi-domain/forest environments, GPOs, DNS, FSMO roles, and replication. - Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), PKI, and authentication protocols. - Proven scripting proficiency with PowerShell for identity troubleshooting and automation. - Familiarity with enterprise Identity and Access Management (IAM) tools such as Okta or Ping Identity is an added advantage. - Preferred Certifications: SC-300, AZ-104, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, or ITIL Foundation. • Working Hours, Shifts & Location Details - Shift Timing: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM IST (with willingness to support on-call rotations in a 24x7 environment). - Work Mode: Remote / Work from Home. - Country: India. • Compensation & Benefits - Compensation details are not disclosed in the posting. • Application Instructions - Interested candidates should submit their updated resume via email.
